Welcome to Children's Alopecia Project
Alopecia Areata is a disease that causes partial to total hair loss in children and adults, there is not a known cause or a cure for this disease. It is not life threatening but it is life altering and that is why the "Children's Alopecia Project" or "CAP", was incorporated as the only non-profit devoted specifically to children with this disease.
Our goal is to generate awareness of the disease and  build self-esteem via support group participation for children and their parents. We want to help all kids living with hair loss.

I am not sure how I came up with that quote but it is so true. CAP is helping children on a normal basis allover the world. We still have so much to accomplish but with your help I know we can do it.

The Children's Alopecia Project is a non-profit that welcomes members from other organizations and sites, we feel that we are stronger together then acting alone.
